Business Development Manager, Europe
Cyril has 17 years of experience working with ATEX solutions. For the first 10 years, he focused on defining ATEX strategies within the fields of electrical engineering and automation. Over time, he expanded his expertise in explosion protection, combining technical knowledge with hands-on field experience. His extensive background led to his involvement with the AFNOR S66A working group, where he contributes to standards on explosion prevention and protection in potentially explosive atmospheres. This includes work on test methods for assessing flammability characteristics of substances, as well as the evaluation of equipment and systems designed for use in such environments—covering both protective systems and related terminology and methodologies.
